Project | 02 DeWalt Redesign​
  • Study of the replacement of the brushed motor used in the DCF815 impact driver with a more efficient brushless alternative

  • Quantified the motor replacement and how much it would cost DeWalt to make this change

  • Presented our findings to DeWalt employees and encouraged them not to make the change because of the added production cost with little marketable change

Project | 03

Project | 03 Mechatronic Bathroom Heater
  • Coded, using Arduino a variation of C++, and built a mechatronic bathroom heater using the existing heat lamp in my apartment

  • Utilizes a temperature sensor, potentiometer and servo motor to heat the bathroom to the temperature set by the user

  • Displays the temperature of the room and the temperature outdoors based upon your location

Project | 04

Project | 04 Miracle on the Hudson​
  • Designed and assembled a 3D model of the Boeing 747 using Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks

  • Animated the 747 to deploy the landing gears and approach the water to pay homage to the legendary miracle on the Hudson

Current Project | 01 Drone Landing Gear
  • Designed, prototyped and tested drone landing gear attachment to extend the surveillance capabilities of quadcopter drones for US Government usage

  • Claw actuated vice mechanism powered by DC motor expands drone mission time by 1200% 

  • Currently marketing this product to local law enforcement groups
